Being forty-something has been such a strange transitional stage for me, as it is for many others. Adjusting to a new season of life that doesn't revolve around the kids' sport and social calendar, finding new things to fill the spare time, and going back into the workforce after a lengthy period as a stay-at-home-mum has definitely made me question my life and purpose.
